These are on the ground floor of the Forsyth Barr Tower, Queensgate (west side of the Woolworths / Countdown carpark). Grant Sidaway as our after meeting speaker. A reminder about our regular gathering at the Hutt City Memorial Library on Friday 26th at 10am. Our guest speaker will be Anne Manchester. She is a writer and long-time member of the community.She will talk about her month-long trip to Antarctica in January this year. Her presentation is entitled Adventures in Antarctica - triumphs and tragedies

SeniorNet Social Morning - Friday 28 March 10am, Lower Hutt Library (upstairs) As a follow up to her very interesting previous Antarctica talk, Anne Manchester will give us a presentation entitled “Into the roaring forties and furious fifties – exploring the Subantarctic Islands” On her month-long journey to Antarctica just over a year ago, Anne Manchester visited four Subantarctic islands. All are World Heritage sites, and each has its own unique flora and fauna and fascinating human history. All members and friends are very welcome. Come for a Cuppa at 10am and the talk will start 10.15am Look forward to seeing you all!

SeniorNet Hutt City Social Morning , Lower Hutt Library, Top Floor Friday 30 May We have an interesting speaker, Geordie Taylor. He is a young man who is telling us about 3D printing. He has a gadget he designed which is called Keyzee. This will particularly interest anybody that has trouble turning the key in a lock. He is going to present this design in front of a panel of judges as part of the Young Enterprise Scheme and is pleased to give a trial talk for us. Come along and bring a friend, we look forward to seeing you.

NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING Notice is hereby given that the 26th Annual General Meeting of SeniorNet Hutt City Inc. is to be held on Tuesday, 22nd July 2025 at 2pm. The venue is the Lower Hutt Senior Citizens Rooms. These are on the ground floor of the Forsyth Barr Tower, Queensgate (west side of the Woolworths / Countdown carpark). The AGM will be followed by afternoon tea and a talk by Les Molloy on China’s Natural World Heritage sites. Library Social Morning Friday 29 August 10AM Letters from the War Years 1940 - 1945 -  Mary and Deanna Cornwell will share their letters. Come along and bring a neighbour or friend. Upstairs in the Lower Hutt Library. There is a $2.00 koha for the Library sessions and this goes towards morning tea, coffee and a small gift for the speaker.

Dear members We are having a Xmas get together on 12 November at Naenae Bowling Club.  At this stage we are looking at number of people who may be interested. Time is 12 noon. The meals will not be more than $20.00 per head. Hope to see you all there. Please let me know by 29 September the latest if you are attending. Please note that we have  changed the date for our Xmas function.  This will now  take place on 12 November at the Naenae Bowling Club.
